Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you respond to one of our ads, fill in the form or write to us, what we do with it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

Did you apply for a driver job or book an interview? This page is not for you. Yours is: Privacy and terms for candidates · Privacy for people booking interviews on our job page

01

Who we are

assistanceOps recruits drivers for last-mile delivery companies, and also runs Facebook and Instagram campaigns for local businesses. We are two brothers who have worked inside delivery operations for years.

The party responsible for this website and for the information described here is assistanceOps, reachable at the email at the end of this page.

02

What information we collect

We only ask for what we need to contact you and understand whether we can help:

  • Your name and your company name.
  • Contact details: email address and phone number.
  • Where you operate: the city or station you work from.
  • Whatever you tell us by email, phone or WhatsApp, and our notes from those conversations.
  • Your IP address: we store it briefly whenever someone submits the form, solely to stop automated submissions and abuse. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
  • Technical website data: pages visited, device and browser type. See the cookies section.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank details, card numbers or any government identification. Please never send those to us.

03

How we collect it

  • The form on this website. What you type into the name, email, company, station and phone fields. The form includes a hidden anti-spam field that ordinary browsers leave empty; if it arrives filled in, the submission is discarded.
  • Instant forms on Facebook and Instagram. When you tap one of our ads and submit the form, Meta passes us the answers and the contact details you confirmed. You see exactly which fields are sent before you submit.
  • Writing or calling us. By email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Browsing the site. Through the Meta pixel and Google Analytics. See the cookies section.

04

Why we use it

  • To contact you about the service you asked about.
  • To understand whether we can help before we both spend time on a call.
  • To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to provide the service.
  • To measure which ads work, in aggregate, so we do not waste budget.
  • To protect the site from automated submissions and abuse.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with other companies so they can market to you. If you tell us to stop contacting you, we stop.

05

Who we share it with

Only with the tools we need to run the business. Each one handles the data on our behalf and under its own terms:

  • Meta — delivers our ads and passes us the forms you submit. Meta Privacy Policy
  • Google — Analytics, to see how the site is used, plus the email and the spreadsheets where your contact details and your opening details are stored. Google Privacy Policy
  • Vercel — hosting for this website. Vercel Privacy Policy

06

Information we handle on behalf of our clients

When a business hires us, we run its campaigns on that business's own accounts: its ad account, its page and its forms. Candidates and customers who respond to those campaigns are giving their information to that business, not to assistanceOps. That business decides what happens with it and its own privacy policy applies.

Our role there is limited to operating the campaign: we access that information only to do the work we were hired for, we do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not keep it after the engagement ends.

07

Job openings you post and interviews booked on our job page

If you are a company posting an opening: we keep what you send us about your company, the job, the pay, the address and the interview times, and your contact details. We use them to publish the opening, to contact you and to send you the list of people who booked interviews with you.

If you are a job seeker booking an interview on our job page, a different policy applies. It explains that your details go only to the companies whose interviews you pick. You will find it in the box at the top of this page and in the footer of the job page.

08

Cookies, the Meta pixel and Google Analytics

This website uses the Meta pixel and Google Analytics. We use them for two things: to see which of our ads bring visitors, and to show follow-up ads to people who already visited the site.

They do not read the text you type into the form. They set cookies through Meta and Google.

How to opt out

  • Adjust what Meta shows you in your Facebook ad settings.
  • Install Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics.
  • Block third-party cookies or use private browsing.
  • Turn on your browser's tracking protection. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends it.

09

How long we keep it

  • If we never end up working together: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then we delete it. We keep it that long because business needs come back around.
  • If you become a client: for as long as we work together, plus the period our accounting and tax obligations require.
  • The form's IP address: 30 days at most, for abuse control only.
  • If you ask us to delete it: we do it within 30 days, and sooner when we can.

10

Your rights

Write to us and you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and where we got it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop contacting you, by any or all channels.
  • Send you a copy of what we hold, in a readable file.

If you live in California

California law gives you the rights above, plus the right to know whether your personal information is sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information. Our use of the Meta pixel for follow-up advertising may be considered sharing under California law; you can opt out using any of the methods in the cookies section, or simply by writing to us.

We answer within 30 days. We will never charge you for this, and we will never treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act on a request.

11

How we protect it

Access to our records is limited to the people who need it to do the work, and the accounts holding your information are protected with two-factor authentication. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfect, but we do not keep information we do not need, which is the best protection there is.

12

Minors

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

13

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you.
